Occupational TherapistLocation : Berkeley, GloucestershireSalary : Actual salary £19,415.37 - £26,715.41 (FTE £37,668.80 - £51,832.00) dependant on experienceHours : 24 hours per week (3 days) - Term time onlyOur private sector client are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support the Therapy Service at their SEMH school in Berkeley, on a part time permanent basis.About the school : The school provides tailored education to pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH needs, combining the best elements of a mainstream school and the best elements of a special school.Key responsibilities : Manage a caseload of children with complex needs, autistic spectrum conditions, sensory needs and attachment difficultiesAnalyse and interpret assessments to recommend and deliver the best course of intervention for each child.Provide a high standard of occupational therapy assessment and intervention to children and young people, including advice and training to relevant parents, carers and professionals in line with proposed treatment plans.Requirements : A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Member of RCOT.Minimum of 1 years post-qualification experience as an OT, within a specialist education setting and / or supporting children and younf adults with complex needs and diagnosis inc ASD, ADHD, SEMH etc.If you're interested, please send your CV , or call Kaylah on (phone number removed).
