We are looking for tutors, mentors or specialist SEND practitioners who are eager to work on a 1 : 1 basis. These children and young people have a variety of learning needs and need supporting in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner, to raise their engagement and drastically improve the outlook of their educational journey.

The role :
This role will involve providing education on a 1 : 1 basis to studentsSessions will take place within their home or local communityHours will be 2 – 3 hours per day per studentStudents will require support in their educational and social-emotional journeyIf selected, your role will be to provide this support via flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoringTasks and responsibilities :
Planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoringProviding the young person with holistic and engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journeyCompleting lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person’s progressRequirements :
Experience working with young people with Additional Educational NeedsExperience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processesEnhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)Two professional referencesHold the right to work in the UKProspero Teaching is acting as an employment business / education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy
