Senior Sous Chef - Boutique hotel - £48,000 Eastbourne area - Live In Available

Key Information :

Salary : up to £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours : full time ,5 / 7 , 45h per week

Location : Eastbourne - outskirts , must be able to drive, live in available

Contract : Permanent

The Role :

Our client is a fabulous Boutique hotel situated in Eastbourne area and they are looking to recruit a Senior Sous chef to help join their brigade. The restaurant boasts a superb choice of fresh, locally sourced dishes served daily. This company also offers excellent career opportunities to develop and progress.

The role does come with accommodation but due to remote location own transport is highly desirable.

Your main responsibilities as Senior Sous Chef will include :

• Supporting the Head chef with writing menus and developing a brigade
• Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
• Develop and train the junior members of the team
• Understand aspects of P&L and budgeting
• Support the Head Chef in maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within a budget
• To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
