Salary : £150 - £250 per day

Job Description :

Academics are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join one of our secondary schools, located in the vibrant community of Hornchurch, London. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and educate young minds, fostering a love for science and nurturing the next generation of scientists.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative science lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their academic journey.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices and curriculum enhancements.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and school events as required.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Science at the secondary level, preferably within a UK school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
