Permanent Position

Are you looking to be part of improving the procurement system at a dynamic manufacturing company? Can you make a difference?

As a Buyer at Independent Forgings, no two days will be the same. On a typical day, you might find yourself :

  • Supporting the Purchasing Manager with the setup and development of a centralized procurement function, including developing policies, procedures, and controls for the procurement lifecycle.
  • Managing the purchase order process, including handling PO requisitions and expediting orders from suppliers.
  • Generating reports from purchasing data to support business decisions.
  • Working alongside the sub-contract coordinator to manage and expedite sub-contract requirements.

What do you need to succeed at IFA?

  • You should enjoy making improvements to procurement systems.
  • You get a buzz out of hitting targets.
  • You likely have some experience in a similar role.
  • You will have excellent organizational and IT skills.
  • You are likely qualified to A level standard or similar.
