Working hours : 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday, ability to be flexible with hours when required

Salary details Dependent upon experience and location :   £32, to £37, per annum (Nationwide) or £36, to £41, per annum (London-based, working a minimum of 40% per week in our London Office, SE5 8FJ)

One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is currently recruiting for Quality Performance Manager to join our Employment Services Team. You will be joining an established friendly team, responsible for improving quality across a network of Employment Advisors.

The role is peripatetic, and you will need to travel across the London & Southeast England region as required. This role will primarily be supporting our London and Southeast England region, including Greater London, Sussex and Kent. A full driving licence and access to a car is desirable.

Key Responsibilities :

You will be managing the quality, compliance, claims, and staff learning and development within your allocated regions. You will review and monitor operations by auditing records and activities, providing feedback and guidance. The role requires you to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement. You will support our ongoing accreditation with various Quality Standards (ISO and Matrix). You will also be key in training, coaching and mentoring staff across the team while working closely with The Salvation Army’s Learning and Development team (SISTAD).

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate :

  • Experience with firm but sensitive tackling of poor compliance
  • Ability to investigate, document, and maintain records accurately
  • Experience with planning and delivering staff training
  • Excellent people skills and ability to communicate professionally to a range of stakeholders
  • Good decision making, planning and organisational skills
  • Strategic, methodical, logical and detail oriented
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience)
