Job description

Our client, with a busy family household close to Highbury & Islington Station, is seeking a Temporary Part-time Housekeeper to assist with the smooth running of their home whilst they search for their permanent member of staff.

Duties include :

All aspects of general housekeeping – cleaning, tidying, organising
Laundry and ironing
Changing bed linen
Running errands – dry cleaners / ad hoc shopping
Preparation of dinner for the 3 children (age 9, 12, and 14)

There is another Part-time Housekeeper working on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

Candidate requirements :

Child and pet friendly – there is a friendly medium-sized dog in the residence

Trustworthy and organised

Hardworking and able to manage their own time

There is sometimes the opportunity to help out with some babysitting, but this is at the candidate’s discretion and not essential.

Duration : ASAP to end of December 2024

Working days : Ideally Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, although there is some flexibility with this

Working hours : 8.00am - 6.00pm

Salary : £20 per hour
