Bradford / Leeds / Huddersfield / Halifax

3 – 6-month contract / Outside IR35 Limited Co.

350.00p / d - £400.00p / d

I am recruiting for a world leading food manufacturer who require are in the market for an Interim Health & Safety Manager to join their business for a minimum 3–6-month contract. They are looking for someone to start immediately on their site based in West Yorkshire.

For the position of Interim Health & Safety Manager, you will require to conduct the following daily duties :

Managing Health, Safety and Environment Management systems and activities
Apply relevant technical guidance control hazards and potential risk
Respond to incidents, report KPI’s
Report to H&S Director and executive team daily
Facilitate a risk assessment programme for continuous review
Maintain database, monitor trends and improvement opportunities

The successful Interim Health & Safety Manager will need to have the following attributes :

Strong track record within H&S within Food and or Beverage

Mechanical background – conveyors, baggers, packers, palletisers, hoppers

Ability to interact with and manage internal and external labour

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
