You will be working for a housing association on social housing repairs. The role is a temp to perm opportunity with the permanent role paying £37,425 + Van and excellent benefits including 28 days holiday.

Your new role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Responsive Repairs team as a multi-skilled operative with a high skill level as a Carpenter where you'll be working around Petersfield, Horndean, Southampton and surrounding area

You will be a multi-skilled operative responsible for the delivery of carpentry maintenance repairs / installations, as well as being capable of additional types of work with your skill set.

Working as a great team player, you'll be carrying out work and installations to properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice.

Your day-to-day tasks will include

• carrying out carpentry repairs and installations to our properties in an efficient and effective manner,
• ensuring that all works are planned, programmed andpleted to the satisfaction of our customers.

You will be on call - 1 in around 8 weeks - Where you will be paid a £157 p / w standby and £ fix first attendance.

You will need a full driving license

You will be an experienced carpenter and multi trader who ideally has social housing experience and property maintenance.
