Job Description

• Routine monthly, half-yearly and annual accounts reporting;
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for Finance Manager;
• Producing and delivering accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports to agreed timescales;
• Producing accurate Manufacturing KPIs for Factory colleagues
• Provide support and cover to Management Accountant
• Maintain fixed asset register, run monthly depreciation and provide capex updates for cash flow purposes
• Monthly recharges to other group companies and reconciliation of the recharge account;
• Ad-hoc assistant in other areas of the finance department
• Assist Finance Manager to drive improvements amongst the department

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have :

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Good knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, look-ups)
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software and financial management systems
