Mechanical Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

  • Location : Edinburgh
  • Contract : Full Time

Due to our continuing expansion, JGM Central is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Project Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of mechanical systems and components for various projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Designing and developing mechanical systems and components to meet project specifications
  • Conducting feasibility studies, design reviews and risk assessments
  • Creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and project documentation
  • Supervising the installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects, electrical engineers, and construction personnel
  • Staying up to date with industry developments and incorporating new technologies into designs
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards and regulations

    • Requirements :

  • Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical design, development, and testing processes
  • Proficient in using relevant software, such as CAD and simulation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
