Contract Director

The Contract Director is responsible for the overall management of the contract, ensuring quality Foodservice and Support Services, managing and developing a large team, and maintaining compliance and commercial performance aligned with growth and retention targets.

More about the role :

Responsibilities Include :

  • Manage the entire contract efficiently and effectively
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a true partner
  • Ensure smooth planning and resource allocation for first-class food and beverage service

    • Implement company promotions correctly

  • Price products according to company policies or client specifications
  • Complete action plans following consumer satisfaction surveys
  • Develop labour schedules within budget, minimizing agency and overtime costs
  • Adjust labour in line with sales fluctuations
  • Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Achieve financial targets, managing costs and income
  • Introduce innovative ideas to the client and team
  • Monitor health and safety, food hygiene, environmental, and HR procedures

    • Who you are :

    The ideal Contract Director will have a successful background in Contract Catering, Hospitality, or Retail, with entrepreneurial skills to foster a thriving environment. You should possess excellent management and communication skills, financial and report writing expertise, and a passion for food and customer service, with a strong commercial acumen.

  • Proven leadership of high-performing teams
  • Operational experience in a similar role
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of handling complex, devolved contracts
  • Experience growing sales in retail, hospitality, or events
  • Background in Foodservice or similar
  • Strong commercial understanding
  • Effective communication skills at all levels

    • Knowledge of leveraging customer insights and digital technology to maximize revenue and footfall is also desirable.
