SEN Teacher | Job Summary
- Salary : £160-£280 daily rate
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons adhering to the college’s guidelines and external accrediting bodies’ requirements.
- Utilize teaching strategies specifically designed for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Supervise and guide learning support workers, students, and volunteers during class.
- Create differentiated lesson plans to meet curriculum requirements and individual student targets.
- Monitor and report on students’ progress, maintaining accurate records as per college procedures.
- Compile and update students’ work files, tracking progress towards learning outcomes.
- Complete all necessary educational materials and documentation.
- Ensure students’ physical well-being, implementing appropriate therapies, and overseeing support provided by assistants.
- Manage learning support assistants within your class team.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment, celebrating each student’s individual work.
- Provide comprehensive academic, pastoral, and personal support for students, including acting as a personal tutor and overseeing lunchtime supervision.
- Perform administrative tasks pertinent to teaching duties.
