Join EPCI as a Geotechnical Engineer and Contribute to Innovative Offshore Projects!Our Client has a requirement for a Geotechnical Engineer, who will be required to work on a Staff or Contractor basis in Aberdeen.Role Purpose : Undertake a varied and challenging role within a diverse and collaborative environment.Participate in tenders, studies, and execute stage projects within the SURF sector.Work with the Specialist Technical Services team within the Central Engineering function.Job Role Responsibilities : Complete geotechnical engineering aspects for SURF scopes, collaborating with the wider team.Evaluate the quality of available site investigation data for offshore energy projects and specify site investigations when required.Interpret and use offshore site investigation data, integrating results into ground models and deriving parameters for detailed design of subsea infrastructure.Undertake detailed design and installation of gravity-based, piled, and suction-installed foundations, and evaluate / recommend reeled-pipe-lay initiation anchorage.Utilize limit analysis for estimating collapse loads for foundations subject to complex loading, using tools such as PLAXIS or OPTUM G3.Perform geotechnical risk assessments and identify geo-hazards and ground risk levels.Design, execute, and manage mechanical protection trenching and rock dumping scopes, and carry out seabed preparation analysis ahead of product / structure installation.Participate in...
