If you are passionate about hospitality and committed to providing unparalleled experiences, we invite you to apply to be part of their amazing team.PurposeThe primary purpose of the Receptionist role is to ensure that Members and guests enjoy their experience at The Caledonian Club by consistently delivering exceptional service.Hours of DutyThe Receptionist will work Monday to Sunday, five days out of seven, on a straight shift basis, totalling 40 hours per week. Flexibility is required, as paid overtime may be necessary during the week or at the weekend.Responsible ToThe Receptionist reports to the Reception Manager and is responsible for : Main Responsibilities

  • Always Adhering to Club Rules and Bye Laws.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation and Fire Policy.
  • Maintaining personal appearance to Club standards.
  • Greeting guests and facilitating check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Maintaining a positive and friendly demeanour while assisting guests.
  • Addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Handling phone calls and directing them appropriately.
  • Managing guest bookings and reservations efficiently
  • Keeping the workspace clean and organised
  • Assisting with administrative and clerical tasks as requiredPerson SpecificationThe ideal candidate for the Receptionist :
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanour in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and procedures.
