Job description

Job Title :  Passionate RE Teacher / RE ECT

Pay :  £30.000 - £41.333 per year +

Location :  Audenshaw, M34

Type :  Full-time – Long term (Term time only)

Start Date : ASAP

Hours :  8.30 AM – 3.30 PM

Job Description :

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate RE Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our outstanding secondary school in Audenshaw, M34. This full-time, long-term position will involve teaching Religious Education.

Responsibilities :

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development
  • Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and respect for diverse viewpoints.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share effective teaching strategies and resources
  • Maintain accurate records of students' progress and attendance

Requirements :

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 levels is desirable, but ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
