Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading food manufacturing company in their search for an Engineering Team Leader to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Engineering Team Leader, our client is offering :

  • 55,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday, Days role
  • Permanent Contract

The Role - Engineering Team Leader :

  • Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the engineering team, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and meet the company s high standards.
  • This role involves both hands-on engineering work and leadership responsibilities.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, technical support, and performance feedback.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Operations, Production, and Quality Assurance, to ensure seamless project delivery.

    • What our client is looking for in an Engineering Team Leader :

  • Must hold a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship - ESSENTIAL
  • Experience of managing an on-site team within the FMCG environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be an effective communicator with strong people skills
  • Previous experience with pumps, valves, steam boilers, compressors, and homogenizers - ESSENTIAL
  • BG01 Certificate - BENEFICIAL
