Job description

Personal Care Assistant for a lady 20 hr / wk @ £13.09 / hr in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

Location : Newbiggin-by-the-Sea

Hours : 20 Hours

Description : Female personal assistants / carers required for a lady in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea for 20 hours.

Experience preferred but training available.

Rates of Pay : £13.09 per hour

Main Duties :

  • Support a lady with physical disabilities to live as independently as possible.
  • Assist with personal care and dressing.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Administration of medication.

Person Specification :

  • Experience as a support worker desirable.
  • Outgoing.
  • Motivating.
  • Honest and reliable.
  • Respect confidentiality.
  • Ability to both take instructions and use own initiative.
  • Sense of humour.
  • Caring nature.

    • Further Information : An Enhanced Certificate of Disclosure (DBS) will have to be obtained for the successful candidate (at employer’s expense).

    Training : Where required, such as in Health and Safety matters, practical training and guidance will be arranged and the care worker will be expected to attend.
