Join our Specialty Care Medical team as US Medical, Head of Oncology, North America Specialty Care and you’ll provide inspirational leadership to the Oncology Medical Affairs teams to assure delivery of key strategies and corporate priorities.

Main responsibilities :

Collaborate with colleagues in Medical Affairs, Commercial, Research and Development, Drug Safety, Sales & Marketing and Regulatory to ensure success of the Medical Brand Plans.

Lead the development, execution, and monitoring of all NA medical brand strategies for Oncology, and work with functional leads on execution of tactics and associated budgets.

Oversee the therapeutic area medical leads in ensuring appropriate review and approval of medical and scientific content of Regulatory, Safety, Scientific Affairs, Medical Affairs and Commercial outputs.

Oversee and align across brands (where possible) measurable policies regarding customer and product medical education within the team to assure a high level of customer satisfaction and compliance.

Develop and maintain key opinion leader relationships representing both the franchise and the broader healthcare community.

Travel as required to support and attend conferences, symposia and other important meetings.

About you

Experience : Experience in Medical Affairs or related areas, leading a large medical function. Strong people management experience and track record in developing and executing medical strategies in the US. Significant experience in Medical Affairs Launch and Life Cycle Management activities is a plus. Experience in Oncology highly preferred.

Soft and technical skills : Has an entrepreneurial and strategic vision and is excellent in strategy development and delivery. Demonstrated strong leadership capability of large, diverse organization. Excellent people and budget management abilities, plus able to lead and organize others without having direct authority.

Education : Advanced degree in a scientific discipline : MD, PhD. Clinical Experience and Board Certifications is advantageous.

Languages : Must be fluent in English and possess superb written and verbal communication skills; fluency in other languages is an advantage.
