Howdens Joinery are looking for an experienced SAP Solution Architect to join our Supply and Enterprise Team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and engaging Solution Architect to work on several interesting and challenging supply chain transformation projects and support the strategic vision of Howdens.
Permanent role you can be based from either our offices in Howden, Yorkshire, Brackmills Business Park, Northampton or Raunds, Northamptonshire. Based onsite at least 3 days a week with home working.
What will I be doing as a Solution Architect?
- Reporting to the Lead Architect, you will work on transformation projects and have strong solution design skills in complex enterprise environments & lines of business, such as procurement, logistics, manufacturing, finance, HR and service.
- You will be able to align Business, Data, Integration, Security, Application, and Technology effectively to create robust solutions.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, product management, business analysts, lead developers, systems engineers, project managers and the broader architecture community to provide feasible, high-quality designs to the development and delivery teams.
- This is a hands-on role, working closely with the PM and delivery team to oversee and manage the end to end lifecycle of deliverables to ensure solutions are delivered according to scope and future direction, as well as on time, on budget and with high quality to ensure service to our customers
What do I need to qualify for this Solution Architect role?
Experience in vertically integrated Supply Chain business and the complex solutions required to support themHands-on experience in delivering multiple projects in SAP, with a deep understanding of at least 2 of the core SAP modulesThe ability to guide and assist the Design authority in highly complex enterprise scale environmentsConfident, engaging, and a strong work ethic with a passion for transformation and innovationA pragmatic problem solver with a can-do attitude, that can help and steer the team to explore options and devise solutions around challenges and problemsAble to support the overall business strategy, transformation, and technology directionWorking knowledge of modern integration platforms, various methods to integrate systems and cloud hosting platformsGood understanding of TOGAF and other architecture methodologies, knowledge of emerging technologies and architectural trends.What we can offer you
