As the Machine Shop / Production Manager, you will oversee the site’s manufacturing, engineering, warehouse, logistics, and production planning operations. The ideal candidate will lead a dynamic team to ensure smooth and efficient production processes while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and output. Duties :

  • Supervising staff, managing the production team, fostering engagement, and providing support to ensure consistent delivery of factory performance and quality outcomes.
  • Responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, warehouse, logistics, planning, and setting up production on the site.
  • Managing inventory, raw materials, batches, and finished stock levels to meet business needs efficiently.
  • Planning and allocating resources to achieve production targets.
  • Monitoring and assessing performance against production plans, ensuring efficiency in equipment use, labor costs, and budget management.
  • Coordinating schedules to ensure all production activities align with customer orders and business objectives.
  • Ensuring the products meet customer specifications and comply with current regulations and standards.
  • Maintaining and supervising production to ensure compliance with food hygiene as well as all Health & Safety rules and regulations on-site.
  • Managing staff effectively to meet the key requirements of the business.

Skills :

  • Proven experience in organizing and planning within a manufacturing environment, with strong technical knowledge.
  • Experience in CNC machines (Mazak and Mazatrol).
  • Knowledge of Cad / Cam is preferred.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire staff.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with the capacity to work independently and maintain timelines.
  • Experience working with CNC machine tools is essential.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Production Scheduling and Planning Software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Full clean driving license required.
