• Ensure all allocated assembly tasks are completed within the timeframe set and to the expected quality standards.
• Conduct all tasks professionally and operate within recognised Health and Safety guidelines.
• Uphold and maintain ELGA ISO quality standards and procedures which affect their area(s) of working.
• Support continuous improvement techniques / initiatives within the operational area.
• Support and maintain an effective 5S policy within area(s) of working.
• Adhere to good working relationships with all operational and quality personnel.Please note, full training will be provided.General requirements for the role :
• Maths and English - GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C.
• Recognised Manufacturing / Production assembly qualification or “On-The-Job” training / experience.
• Good understanding of manufacturing principles.
• Ability to operate well under quality / time productivity and utilisation performance management.
• Adept at tech (electro-mechanical) assembly processes and routine, demonstrate dexterity and attention to detail as required.
• Good understanding of recognised Health and Safety practices.
• Ability to work in a cohesive motivated team.
• Maintain a quality focus at all times.
• Excellent numeracy, literacy skills.
• Disciplined and organised approach to tasks with the ability to prioritise.
• Flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
