Job Title : Workshop Forklift Engineer Location : Dewsbury Salary : £30,000 – £33,000 per annum Hours : 40 Hours Per Week | Monday – Friday 08 : 00-17 : 00 My client, a well-established national materials handling company, is seeking a dependable Workshop Forklift Engineer to join their service division in the Dewsbury area. This is a permanent role offering consistent work, structured support, and room to grow within a reputable business. Key Responsibilities in your new workshop forklift engineer role : Maintenance, servicing and inspections of diesel, LPG and electrical materials handling equipment Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and pre delivery inspection of forklift trucks Keeping accurate service reports and adhering to safety policiesWhat you’ll need for your new workshop forklift engineer role : Engineering experience in forklifts, plant or similar NVQ Level 2 / 3 preferred Good problem-solving and communication skills Full UK driving licenceWhat you’ll receive in your new mobile forklift engineer role : £30,000–£33,000 base salary Overtime at 1.5x Company Contributory Pension Structured training and clear progression routesIf you don’t meet all the criteria, my client is open to developing people with the right foundation and mindset.
