Job description

Engineer Surveyor role paid door to door. An opportunity to join a newly formed division for one of the biggest crane providers in Europe.A role inspecting and testing construction hoists (passenger / goods), tower cranes and crawler cranes. You will be responsible for ensuring all of the testing & inspection of equipment is done to a high standard and within relevant time frames. Do not miss out on this fantastic Engineer Surveyor role - £40k-£50k Plus overtime + van + trainingWe are currently recruiting for an Engineer Surveyor based in the South - London / M25 to cover Cranes / construction hoists, plant and piling rigs working around London / M25 / Kent / Essex with work set to grow again.As an Engineer Surveyor, your responsibilities will consist of inspecting / certifying plant / crane equipment on customer's sites.Duties and expectations of the Engineer Surveyor :

  • Ensure that all repairs / inspections and maintenance are completed to a high standard
  • Flexible and professional approach to all clients / customers
  • Work on a variety of equipment from Lifting Gear to crane to plant and specialist crawler cranes / tower cranes
  • Good geographical knowledge of the UK
  • PUWER & LOLER experienceTo apply for this role you must have :
  • Experience working within the construction plant / crane hire sectors
  • You may hold qualifications from LEEA (advanced) CITB or similar
  • MUST have experience with Tower / Mobile or Crawler Cranes
  • An NVQ level 3 or equivalent in plant maintenance or a mechanical engineering apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working as a plant fitter, mobile fitter, Tower Crane Engineer, Senior Crane Engineer, Lifting Engineer, Crane Engineer or engineer surveyor / Lifting Equipment Engineer or Lifting ExaminerThe successful Engineer Surveyor will receive a fully equipped van, promotion opportunities and the option to work regular overtime.This is an exciting time to work for one of the leading manufacturers of plant / crane equipment in a time of continuing success and expansionTo apply for this Engineer Surveyor role you can reach me on (phone number removed) or via (url removed)
