Locum Principal Planning Lawyer

North West

50 - 60 per hour

About the Planning Lawyer role

A highly regarded local authority in the North West is seeking a Principal Planning Lawyer a locum basis for at least 6 months. This local authority has an excellent reputation and is offering an exclusive opportunity for an experienced Lawyer.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Planning Lawyer to join a supportive team on a full-time basis. Our client is ideally seeking a planning lawyer able to undertake this role on a hybrid basis, however candidates seeking a fully remote pattern will be considered.

Key responsibilities of the Principal Planning Lawyer role

  • Drafting and negotiating complex s106 agreements, s38 / 278 agreements, s111 agreements
  • General planning and enforcement advice
  • Planning inquiries and enforcement appeals, Statutory Challenges & Judicial Review
  • Instructing Counsel including Leading Counsel
