IT Service Desk 2nd Line Engineer

32,000 per annum

Your role with us :

This role will be responsible for providing second line technical support and resolving complex IT issues for our internal stakeholders.

We are looking for people who have :

  • Significant experience working in a similar role providing second line technical support in a corporate IT environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting and resolving IT issues across multiple platforms, including Windows and macOS.
  • Excellent communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non technical stakeholders.
  • ITIL certification or knowledge of IT service management best practices.
  • The technical expertise to thrive in a fast paced environment.

We are looking for people who are :

  • Qualified to degree level in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware software and network related problems, including experience with Active Directory, Office 365 and other enterprise systems.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team oriented environment, with a proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent IT support.
