For January 2025, Dr Challoner's Grammar School are seeking a full-time Teacher of Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics at this 11-18 grammar school for boys, with a co-educational Sixth Form.

Term time only : No

Salary detail : : MPS / UPS plus Fringe Allowance (plus the possibility of a temporary TLR2.2 from January - August 2025)

Contract type : Permanent

Hours : Full time

This post offers an opportunity for a recently qualified teacher or for someone looking to gain experience working as part of a dynamic and experienced Humanities team in an innovative and high achieving school.

There is the possibility for a suitably experienced candidate of a temporary Subject Lead responsibility from January - August 2025.

About you

You should have experience of teaching Religious Studies to at least GCSE level, and a thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum and examination requirements.

Some experience of teaching A level Religious Studies or Philosophy would be an advantage.
