Senior Design Co-ordinator / Technical Design Co-ordinator

Location : Stockton-on-Tees

Salary : £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Co-ordinator / Technical Design Co-ordinator to join a leading construction specialist in Stockton-on-Tees. You will coordinate the design process for projects involving SFS, drylining, or cladding, ensuring smooth handover from design to manufacture.

Key Responsibilities :

Support sales with technical reviews, project specifications, and early engagement

Assist estimating with technical reviews, take-offs, and BOQs

Act as the main technical contact for the sales team

Manage the design process, including RFIs, design trackers, and document control

Liaise with client design teams to resolve queries and ensure requirements are met

Make sure design and engineering teams meet programme deadlines

Oversee value engineering solutions and ensure smooth transition into manufacture

Work with site teams to resolve design issues and provide feedback for improvements

Upload and manage documents on client systems (e.g., Asite)

Requirements :

Experience in a similar design coordination role within construction

Background in SFS, drylining, or cladding

Strong organisational and communication skills

Salary & Benefits :

36,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
