7.5t / HGV 2 Driver

Location : Severn Beach

Staffing Match is proud to be working in partnership with our client based in Severn Beach, Bristol, who are looking for 7.5 tonne / HGV 2 drivers to join them on a long term / temp to perm basis.

Shifts and pay rates as a 7.5t driver :

  • Days 07.00am start until finish.
  • Rota 5 days on 3 days off rolling. (requiring only 2 full weekends in an 8 week rotation)
  • 14.50 - 17.81 P / H paye
  • OT X 1.5
  • Permanent salary circa £35k + benefits + 30 days annual leave

Your responsibilities :

  • Duties include driving a 7.5t vehicle, working with an experienced driver's mate or driver.
  • 2-man crew delivery of goods to customers' homes or flats.
  • Unloading goods and delivering to room of choice.
  • Completing paperwork.
  • Heavy lifting is involved.

    • About you :

  • Have a 7.5t licence or above, CPC and Digi card.
  • Have excellent customer service & communication skills.
  • Be able to work long days as required. We cannot specify what time you will finish.
  • You will need to have a DBS and drug and alcohol test before you start, we will arrange this.
  • No more than 6 penalty points or disqualifications, no DR, DD, TT's or IN10's.
