Our client is a well-established and successful privately-owned business based in the outskirts of Maidstone, who are looking for a commercial accountant to join the team on a 12 x month fixed-term contract. The person in this role will ideally be able to gain a thorough understanding of the business through building working relationships at all levels within the company.
Key responsibilities :
- Creation of financial models and templates for product analysis throughout the business
- Understand and challenge data sources and assumptions to ensure reporting is robust, consistent, and supportable
- Build costing models to gain as much value from non-finance data as possible
- Prepare weekly P&Ls for the business, with detailed variance analysis.
- Ensuring the consignment tracker reconciles to the finance system and packing sheets.
- Ad hoc projects and duties as required.
