The successful candidates will have a broad-based training in anaesthesia and will have the ability to care for complex patients having major surgeries. The role involves a commitment to supporting the out of hours emergency cardiac anaesthesia services at University Hospital.
University Hospital is a large teaching hospital and is the Major Trauma centre for the Central England Trauma Network. We have a large Department of Anaesthesia which delivers perioperative care to around 44,000 elective and emergency patients. We provide anaesthesia and perioperative care for all major sub-specialties including cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, vascular surgery and renal transplant services.
