ABOUT THE ROLE

There is a current need for a Senior Site Manager to be based on one of their ongoing projects based in Greenwich. This project is a 17-unit new build RC residential project valued at roughly £8 Million. The successful candidate will be based on-site in Greenwich and be responsible for the whole site, under the supervision of a Contracts Manager.

Your role will include :

  • Management of the project in its entirety
  • Use Pro-core to access drawings and input data
  • Ensure that the on-site Construction team is fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines for their own job responsibilities
  • Ensure that all units are produced to a consistently high standard of quality
  • Monitor and control the cost of production and approve payments to sub-contractors
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety and other relevant legislation, and accompany any authorised person connected with Health and Safety at Work or other relevant legislation in inspections of the site
  • Liaise with internal colleagues / Line Managers, and external suppliers and contacts as required in order to ensure the building program is achieved

REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate needs to have extensive experience in managing RC Frame Residential projects valued between, £5 million and £15 Million. The ideal candidate should also have extensive new build experience. They should also have a drive to succeed and there will be a clear route to becoming a Project Manager in the next 2-3 years.

My client is looking for candidates who can show stability of employment throughout their career keeping each appointment for a minimum of 3 years per employer.
