The Best Connection LTD Group are currently recruiting for Transport Administrator to work for our new client based in Banbury .
This is an on-going immediate position with the potential to go permanent following a successful trial period.
Hours of work & Pay rate :
- 06.00 - 14.00 Monday to Friday
- You might be required to be able to work rotation shift
- 13.35 per hour
- Paid weekly!
Responsibilities :
Managing on site customer relationship, ensuring that communication is good and issues are highlighted and dealt withDaily execution of the plan, ensuring all deliveries and collections are made on time in fullManaging reporting and management information, ensuring that all communication is timely, appropriate and targetedManaging and controlling agency requirements and spend on a weekly basis, working with agency to ensure vehicles are manned up with fully trained drivers. Provide forecast, feedback and regular reviews on performance.Understanding of Health & Safety on siteEnsure fleet is fully legally compliant, managing servicing program and repairs through agreed partnersRequirements :
Demonstrable experience in transport / logisticsProved leadership to deliver a safety - first culturePrevious experience of high-volume transport operations and / or planningPrevious experience / knowledge of Transport Management system requiredStrong communication skills both within the company and external customers.Benefits :
Weekly Pay28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
