Forklift Drivers

We are currently recruiting a number Forklift Drivers to join our clients team who are a successful Frozen Food Manufacturing company based in Boston, Lincolnshire.

This is an ideal role for someone who is or has worked as a Forklift Driver, preferably in the food industry. A valid counterbalance forklift licence is required at an ITSSAR, AITT, BRITOP or RTITB standard or equivalent.

This multi-skilled role encompasses a range of responsibilities and duties and can be physically demanding at times. The suitable applicant will need to be versatile and flexible in their approach to work duties. The applicant may be asked to work in any area of the business as and when demand requires it.

Shifts

Shift pattern will be 3 - 2 - 2

6am – 6pm or 6pm – 6am

The Multi-skilled Forklift Driver will report to the Shift Team Leader and will have, but won’t be limited to, the following duties and responsibilities :

Ensure that the production lines are kept well stocked to keep the line running effectively

Ensure full completion of daily targets whilst maintaining strict food hygiene and health and safety standards

Ensure the work areas are kept tidy and organised at all times

Assist with cleaning and wash downs

To empty waste throughout the shift

Move crates

Yard work

Any other adhoc duties as required

Pay Rate

12.20 - £13.21 per hour
