Job description

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Ward Manager to work in an exceptional CAMHS service in the Charlwood, Surrey area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers

A brand new general adolescent inpatient unit for the care and treatment of young people aged 13 up to the age of 18

  • To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As the Ward Manager your key responsibilities include :

  • Providing leadership and guidance to support a unified service and engaged workforce
  • Ensuring that high standards are in place, followed and improved in accordance within the Clinical Governance framework
  • Utilising and supervising all nursing staff effectively
  • Being an expert resource on Nursing care of service users within the specialism and hold a key role in the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintaining a positive and collaborative environment to allow ward members to reach their potential and maximum their ability to provide high-quality care, staff welfare and staff training
  • Designated to take charge of the ward
  • The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role :

  • A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
  • A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment
  • Proven track record of leadership skills
  • The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £55,000 per annum DOE. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 37.5 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits :
