Role Purpose
Responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects across various Rolls-Royce sites. Ensure project delivery meets Integral & Rolls Royce standards in safety, quality, and programme, while complying with current CDM legislation as a Principal Contractor. Qualifications in a related trade such as mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, building fabric, or roofing are required.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide health and safety leadership to your site delivery team, promote behavioural safety, and conduct regular site safety audits, reporting findings to management.
- Support project risk management, establish effective controls, and ensure safe, timely project delivery as per programme set by senior management.
- Identify and support project opportunities to improve commercial performance.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders to protect and enhance the company's reputation.
- Support mandatory reporting of KPIs, Good Catches / Near Misses, accidents, and incidents following company procedures.
- Ensure suppliers, subcontractors, and workforce adhere to company policies, including H&S, Quality Assurance, and Engineering standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks and daily activity briefings with Rolls Royce and subcontractors.
- Maintain accurate records of work and expenditure, reporting to the project manager as needed.
- Coordinate site activities, issue permits in accordance with CDM and CSO6.
- Work with the Project Manager to ensure work is delivered according to the workbook and standards, completing snagging and defect resolution.
- Lead your team to meet and exceed business performance targets, supporting individuals and team development.
What We Will Need From You
Proven experience as a supervisor / site manager.Experience in external construction, including groundworks, steel framing, cladding, and drainage.Experience working in occupied buildings / campuses (highly desirable).Knowledge of H&S standards and procedures.Ability to understand customer requirements.Construction-related qualification (e.g., City & Guilds / NVQ).Certifications such as SSSTS / SMSTS, JIB / BESA, CSCS, First Aid.Proficiency in IT software including MS Office and quality assurance tools.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Self-motivated with initiative and flexibility.Leadership skills and team support capabilities.What You Can Expect From Us
