Overview An exciting opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join PM Group working for us in our Manchester office. Job Title : Structural Engineer Location : Manchester Contract : Full time - Permanent Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of Civil & Structural Engineering, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing structural engineering services across our projects and customers. The portfolio of clients and projects will be diverse and varied in demand so you will require an adaptable and flexible approach towards delivery. In a multi-disciplinary environment, you will provide structural engineering design of projects including steelwork and reinforced concrete structures along with supporting civil engineering input as required You'll provide structural engineering from the concept to detail design including development of structural models, preparation of calculations and design reports. Qualifications Degree or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering Working towards iStructE or ICE chartership Specific sector related experience including; Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy & Environmental and Gas. Knowledge and experience in structural analysis and design of building structures. Understanding of structural systems, analysis and design both steelwork and reinforced concrete. Structural design experience gained across steelwork, masonry and concrete materials. Design experience of sub-structures and superstructures.
