Business Support AdministratorWakefield - 5 days on siteShort-term temporary role - Immediate Start

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Business Support Administrator to join a public sector organisation in Wakefield. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provideprehensive administrative support to various departments within the organisation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, and events, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Handle iing and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and phone calls.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation.
  • Support the procurement process by managing orders and liaising with suppliers.
  • Ensurepliance with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the team.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the public sector.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbalmunication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Knowledge of public sector policies and procedures is an advantage.
