Job Description

Rate : £12.21 per hour

Start Date : Immediate

Hours : 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07 : 00-17 : 00

Temporary to Permanent : Yes

Responsibilities

  • Be physically fit, hardworking, and ideally hold a valid Counterbalance forklift license.
  • Ensure product quality by being aware of parameters impacting it and acting proactively.
  • Work accurately and methodically within a small warehouse team with minimal guidance.

Tasks

  • General warehouse duties, including maintaining cleanliness.
  • Sort and convey goods, maintain stock rotation.
  • Palletise and stack 16kg-25kg bags.
  • Operate shrink wrap machine for pallets.
  • Load vehicles with pallets.
  • Perform pre-start forklift checks and ensure trucks are maintained.
  • Be flexible with working hours and willing to stay late if needed.
  • Follow food safety policies and procedures.
  • Complete delivery notes accurately.
