THE ROLE
Responding to breakdowns and delivering planned maintenance activitiesCarryout fault-finding activities and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas; Robotics, PLC’s, Electrical Control Systems, Hydraulics and Pneumatics.Maintaining safety equipment, turntables, hydraulic machinery, cnc milling machines, sevro press heads, sensors, wash plants and assembly lines,Undertake planned preventative maintenance activities on automated production facilities.Programming, fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of Motoman robots, rotary positioners and MIG spot welding equipment.Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.Support equipment commissioning and installation projects.Prepare technical reports to analyse breakdown causes and make recommendations on countermeasures.Programming, fault diagnosis, servicing and repair of Motoman robots, rotary positioners and MIG spot welding equipment.Driving of continuous improvement activities liaising with external suppliers to reach project deadlinesTHE PERSON
Ability to produce technical reportsExperience of refurbishing pumps, motors and bearingsKnowledgeable regarding PLC’s Siemens / Omron for fault findingExperience of multi-skilled maintenance in a high-volume production environmentKnowledge of Welding and Fabrication techniquesEducated to HNC level or equivalent within a Multi-skilled disciplineTO APPLY
