Apprenticeship & Early Careers Partner

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of an  Apprenticeship & Early Careers Partner , on a 2-month contract , highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay : £22.67 - £29.50 per Hour

Summary :

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Apprenticeships and Early Careers Partner to design and deliver innovative early careers and apprenticeship programmes. You will play a key role in attracting new talent, addressing workforce skills gaps, and building a resilient, diverse future workforce.

The postholder will provide expert guidance on early careers pathways, collaborate with HR colleagues to strengthen the councils employer brand, and ensure a high-quality learner experience, enabling participants to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities :

• Manage the planning, procurement, and delivery of apprenticeship, internship, and early careers programmes.
• Develop annual recruitment plans for apprentices, graduates, and interns aligned with organisational needs.
• Represent the council at career fairs, school, college, and university events.
• Ensure fair, transparent recruitment and selection processes for early careers talent.
• Oversee the onboarding, induction, and ongoing support for all participants.
• Monitor participant diversity and support action plans to promote inclusivity.
