Role : Teaching Assistant

Location : Birkenhead, Wirral

Salary : £–£ per week (dependent on experience / qualifications)

About the Role

Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Birkenhead to recruit a Teaching Assistant for their nursery class. You’ll provide general classroom support and also provide dedicated support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We’re seeking someone dependable and experienced within Early Years Foundation Stage.

Assignment Details

This role is full-time, Monday to Friday, (8 : 30am to 3 : 30pm), starting in September and continuing for the academic year.

Person Specification

  • Level 2 / 3 teaching assistant qualification; however, those with relevant school experience will be considered
  • GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English
  • Experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting
  • Experience delivering small group support or intervention
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one
