You don't need previous experience in care to join our team as a Support Practitioner as we recruit based on your values and transferable skills and will provide all the training you need to succeed, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ.
It would be great if you hold a manual driving licence as the individuals we support have their own mobility cars, however this isn't essential.
The Role
Our supported individuals have diverse needs, including Mental Health challenges, learning disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, addictions and past trauma. As a Support Practitioner in a trauma-aware practice, you'll play a vital role in empowering them to lead fulfilling lives and achieve their goals.
As a Support Practitioner you will assist with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care.
