The Role
As a Deputy General Manager , you will be overseeing daily hotel operations and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.
Responsibilities :
- Control operational costs and manage budgets proactively.
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
- Ensure accurate stock control and resource planning.
- Empower staff to anticipate and fulfil guest needs autonomously.
- Conduct regular training and development sessions to maintain high service standards.
- Maintain effective communication through regular team meetings.
- Support organisational initiatives and uphold service excellence.
- Stay informed of and communicate hotel updates and changes.
- Optimise staff rotas to meet wage percentage targets.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to optimise food and beverage operations.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and HR procedures.
Requirements :
Previously worked as a Food & Beverage Manager in a similar role.Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role.Familiarity with relevant legislation (Food Safety, Health & Safety, Liquor Licensing).Strong commercial and financial acumen.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Skilled in IT systems; knowledge of Rezlynx would be beneficial.Benefits :
