Our client, a leading London Markets Insurance company, have an immediate requirement for an API Implementation Manager to join their growing Strategic Analytics team.

About the Role

As Implementation Manager you will be leading the implementation of real-time predictive analytic solutions that move the company forward.

You will develop cutting-edge solutions that put analytics at the heart of the business and work closely with other members of the Strategic Analytics team on high-profile projects.

Responsibilities

• Developing and Implementing API Strategy : create and maintain API strategy that aligns with the business's overall objectives.
• API Design and Development : establish API protocols and standards, develop API architectures, and collaborate with other stakeholders to integrate APIs into existing systems.
• API Documentation : maintain Confluence documentation for API development processes, code, and revisions.
• API Security : Implement proper security protocols and work with cybersecurity team to address potential threats.
• Monitoring and Maintenance : continuously monitor the performance of APIs, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure that APIs are regularly updated and maintained.
• Stakeholder Communication : communicate with various stakeholders, including developers, IT teams, and business leaders, about the role of APIs in achieving business objectives.
• Training and Support : provide training and support to other team members on how to use APIs effectively. They also provide technical support for any API-related issues.
• Vendor Management : responsible for managing technical relationships with third-party vendors.
• Market Research : stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the API space, and suggest ways to leverage these trends for the benefit of the business.
