Contract : Fixed Term 12 Months

Location : Hybrid / Quorum Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne

This is a hybrid working role, so you’ll need to be able to work from our Head Office twice a week

Hours per week : 37

Salary : Up to £44,364, depending on experience

About the role

We’re excited to be looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Assessment Delivery team.

This is a key management role within a critical team, overseeing the accurate and timely release of external assessment results.

You’ll be accountable for leading sub-teams to meet external deadlines, ensuring NCFE remain operationally compliant, supporting the delivery or major programmes of work.

How you’ll make an impact :

Providing operational leadership within the Assessment Delivery team
Creating, managing, and delivering on key policies and processes
Leading on management of risk identification and mitigation approaches
Contributing to wider strategic planning and goals

We’d love to hear from you if you offer the following :

Experience of working in a regulated environment

Knowledge of the key principles of assessment, and experience working with externally set and marked assessments

Experience leading a large operational team

Experience of implementing operational change, and internal quality assurance principles

Exceptional planning skills, with experience in delivering to immovable deadlines

Confident communication and the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to a range of audiences.
