Quantity Surveyor

James Gray Recruitment are actively recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of one of our key Civil engineering and infrastructure clients based near Glasgow. This role will be a mix of office based work and site visits.Our client :

• A leading UK business operating primarily within Civil's and infrastructure schemes.

• The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing tender and contract documents, including performing risk, value management and cost control.
• Working on civil engineering and infrastructure projects, you will also be responsible for managing costs from inception to completion to minimise cost and maximising value for money.
• Liaison with Site Managers to collate information on day-to-day remitsWhat you will need to be successful :
• At least 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the civils sector
• Strong understanding of NEC 3 or 4
• Strong communication skills and confident dealing with clients is essential.What’s in it for you :
