Requirements :

• Social Work England Registration
• Extensive Adults Social Work Experience
• Experience with Case Management
• Knowledge of Care Act and Mental Capacity Assessments

This local authority based in the North West of London is seeking an experienced candidateto join a supportive team of social workers involved in carrying out strength-based Care Act Assessments (including for carers) reviews and to set up creative and imaginative care and support plans designed to meet assessed eligible needs.

You will be carrying out Mental Capacity Assessments and associated risks assessments will feature as a critical part of their everyday work. They will have a working knowledge and ability to complete assessment using the NHS checklist and be able to represent customers and social care in the Decision Support Tool process.

They will also be able to carry out effective safeguarding enquiries and thus be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding principles and practice.
