Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to kick–start their career in accountancy. As a Trainee Accountant , you will gain hands–on experience across different areas of finance, working closely with experienced professionals while studying towards a recognised accounting qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
- Supporting tax computations, VAT returns, and payroll processing
- Handling financial reconciliations and maintaining accurate records
- Assisting with audit assignments and compliance tasks
- Engaging with clients and addressing queries professionally
- Analysing financial data and preparing reports for senior accountants
- Keeping up to date with accounting regulations and best practices
Who We Are Looking For
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)A strong numerical and analytical mindsetExcellent attention to detail and problem–solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn financial softwareAbility to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks efficientlyA commitment to pursuing a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)What We Offer
