Senior Office Administrator

  • Our client based in Cannock are looking for an experienced Office Administrator

The Office Administrator duties include :

  • To ensure that all office activities fully comply with the Company’s general employment terms, as well as all quality and Health & Safety policies
  • Company representation at all management meetings
  • Ensure that all work orders are prioritise and processed in line with customer expectation
  • Carry out regular reviews on Customer requirements to ensure a consistent approach to customer satisfaction
  • Dealing with all customer related issues including dissatisfactions and complaints
  • Working with the Workshop Manager to ensure appropriate staff discipline is maintained within the Company
  • Provide customer sales quotations
  • Handle all sales enquiries
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via telephone and emails
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries
  • Negotiating on price, costs, delivery with buyers and managers
  • Checking and maintaining sales stock
  • Raising of sales invoices and authorisation of supplier payments
  • Manage payment applications
  • Negotiate the terms of current and new customer contracts / agreements
  • Reply to general information requests with the accurate information
  • Greet clients / suppliers / visitors to the organisation in a professional and friendly manner
  • Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents
  • Manage import / export activities and procedures reporting to HMRC when necessary
  • Back-up electronic files using QA procedures
  • Use computer software to prepare invoices and financial statements
  • Code and file financial material according to Company procedures
  • Administer petty cash according to established procedures
  • Recruitment of staff as required
  • Assist with financial reports as required
  • Month end duties as required
  • Emergency First Aider
  • Authorities of Office Administrator

  • Sign UKAS calibration certificates
  • Monitoring day to day banking activity
  • Authorisation of supplier payments
  • Rechargeable equipment hire
  • Consumables up to £500
  • Experience required for Office Administrator

  • 5 Years office experience in a similar role
  • Accounts Experience
